1. Introduction and Scope
1.1This Website Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes the practices of Segla Productions LLC, a New York limited liability company having its principal place of business in Los Angeles, California (“Segla,” “we,” “us” or “our”), with respect to the collection, use, disclosure and retention of Personal Information in connection with the website located at segla.pro, together with its landing page, private beta waitlist and all related pages and functionality (collectively, the “Website”).
1.2As used in this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information that identifies, relates to or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual.
1.3This Policy applies solely to the Website. The processing of Personal Information in connection with any Segla account, application or service is governed by the Segla Privacy Policy.

2. Personal Information We Collect
2.1Information You Provide. If you elect to join the Segla private beta waitlist (the “Waitlist”), we collect the email address you submit, the date and time of your submission, and whether you have since unsubscribed. Upon submission, we transmit a single message to the address provided confirming that it has been added to the Waitlist, which includes a mechanism by which you may remove it.
2.2Information Collected Automatically. When you access the Website, our servers and hosting provider automatically receive certain technical information, including your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type and the page requested. We process your IP address for a limited duration for the purpose of detecting and preventing automated, fraudulent and repeated submissions. Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs for security and operational purposes.
2.3Information We Do Not Collect. The Website does not request your name, telephone number, date of birth or payment information. The Website does not deploy analytics tools, advertising pixels, tracking cookies or similar tracking technologies.
3. Purposes of Processing
3.1We process your email address for the following purposes: (a) to confirm to you that the address has been added to the Waitlist; (b) to notify you when access to the private beta becomes available and to deliver your invitation; and (c) to send you periodic communications regarding the launch of Segla, from which you may unsubscribe at any time.
3.2We process technical information solely for the purposes of operating, maintaining and securing the Website and protecting it against fraud and misuse.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
4.1Service Providers. We disclose Personal Information only to the following service providers, each of which processes such information on our behalf and solely for the purpose of operating the Website and the Waitlist:
- Vercel, Inc., which hosts the Website and receives requests transmitted by your browser;
- Neon, which hosts the database in which Waitlist entries are stored, located in the United States; and
- Resend, which delivers our email communications and receives your email address and the messages transmitted to it.
4.2Legal Requirements. We may disclose Personal Information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Segla, our users or others.
4.3Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, Personal Information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the commitments set forth in this Policy.
4.4No Sale. We do not sell, rent or lease Personal Information, and we do not disclose Personal Information to advertisers or to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain Waitlist entries until the earliest of (a) your unsubscribing, (b) our receipt of your request for deletion, or (c) the conclusion of the private beta, where you have not joined. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period in accordance with its standard practices and are thereafter deleted.
6. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of Personal Information.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1Unsubscribing. Each email communication we send includes a mechanism by which you may unsubscribe from further communications.
7.2Access, Correction and Deletion. You may request that we provide access to, correct or delete the Personal Information we maintain about you by submitting a request to privacy@segla.cc. We will respond to verifiable requests within thirty (30) days of receipt.
7.3California Residents. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020, grants you the right to know the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, the right to request deletion and correction of such information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. Segla does not “sell” or “share” Personal Information, as those terms are defined under such law.
7.4European Economic Area and United Kingdom Residents. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your email address on the basis of your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation and the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation, as applicable. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
8. International Transfers
The Website is operated from the United States, and Personal Information is stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your Personal Information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Website is not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and Segla does not knowingly collect Personal Information from any such individual. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from an individual under the age of sixteen (16), we will promptly delete such information. 10. Changes to This Policy
We may amend this Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. Any amendment shall become effective upon posting to the Website, and the “Last Updated” date set forth above shall be revised accordingly. Where an amendment materially affects the processing of your Waitlist information, we will notify you by email prior to such amendment taking effect.
